Jordan Villanueva was unanimously called as Pastor of Indian Hills Baptist Church on Sunday, March 25, 2018.  Jordan and his wife, Jamie, will begin thier ministry in early May.  WELCOME, JORDAN AND JAMIE!   

Jordan attended Howard Payne University and currently is enrolled at Southwestern Baptist Seminary in Forth Worth and has been actively involved in church ministry since 2008.  Jamie is a first grade teacher at a private preparatory academy.  

Pastor Emeritus

Doug Simon

Doug Simon served as the pastor of the Indian Hills Baptist Church for 27 years before retiring and also served as Interim Pastor for a period of several months before the new pastor was called.  Brother Doug now serves as Pastor Emeritus.  He and his lovely wife, Barbara, continue to serve in various capacities.



Music Minister

Darrell Opper

Darrell is Minister of Music and Worship and has been on staff at Indian Hills for 27 years. Earning his music degree from Ouachita Baptist University and his Master of Church Music from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Darrell has served churches in both Texas and Oklahoma.  He is married to Dana and they have two children, Guy and Leslie-Marie. Both Darrell and Dana are gifted musicians and love to lift up the Lord through music.  Darrell welcomes anyone who enjoys singing to join the sanctuary choir.

Having served as children’s director since 2007, Dana earned a music degree from UTA and Master of Liberal Arts from DBU. Dana homeschooled her two children, Guy and Leslie-Marie, and remains active as a teacher at a local homeschool co-op as well as being the caregiver of her father.

Office Manager

Patsy Hailey

Patsy is the office administrator and also manages the financial books. A lovely, caring lady, Patsy brings a breath of fresh air to our office.  Patsy attended Texas A&I at Kingsville and Howard Payne University.  She has a background in real estate and insurance and also served as Director of Special Projects, Director of the Student Foundation, and as a financial development officer at Howard Payne University.   Patsy and her husband have long been active in church, civic and charitable activities.  She is a Bible Study teacher and a public speaker. She and her husband are the parents of three sons and four grandchildren.
